Volcanoes have a wicked way of making things difficult for humans during the explosions and the fallout from them. Some can deal out to us major cold winters that have brought about famine. There are scientific clues of this throughout with ice cores, tree rings, and history of those who lived through major eruptions. Good things have been made from the Volcanoes too.
